Since starting our memorial Fund in 2009 we have raised £10,000 for the Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital Cyber Knife fund. Our mission remains the same, to make Cyber Knife Treatment available to NHS patients in the Midlands. For full details of our mission and information on this treatment please Log on to our recently updated website, where you will be able to see some of our fundraising events. You can also log on to the hospital website, UHB charities, cyber Knife fund and see how far they are away from this treatment being available.

We were fortunate to be invited to look at their latest Gamma Ray treatment facility in 2011 and were told money raised so far, for the Cyber Knife machine was well underway. Every family will be affected by Cancer, if some treatment is a post code lottery, please help to make sure the latest technology is available to everyone in the Midlands.

We will be organising our annual 6 mile Canal Memory walk on 4th May which will start at 10 O’clock at the Bridge Inn, Brewood. The entry fee will be a small donation, please come along and join us in memory of your loved ones. It would be great to see as many people as possible, if you could spare a couple of hours.

Everyone welcome.
